Jesus and I were sitting at a square table with a Scrabble board in front of us. The table was set in a park, like a city park. There were people randomly around. There was a big fountain. Grassy hills. A sidewalk circling and weaving in the park. We both had a cup of coffee. I was thoroughly enjoying the relaxing time with Him. I said, “I could stay here forever.” He looked at me, inquisitively… was that a gleam in His eye? “What’s forever?”, He asked. Why was He asking me such a ridiculous question? “You know. For all time, ” I said. “There is no ‘all time’. We are in time.” I had no idea what He meant by that. It didn’t matter. My next thought was random, I really wanted a piece of cherry cheesecake. A second later, a being – was it an angel? – showed up by my side with a plate of cherry cheesecake. I was shocked. I had not said a word about wanting this. I asked Jesus about it. He told me, “Your thoughts are known. When you think something, it comes to pass.” What a place we were in!
